ELWO Engineering successfully delivered a comprehensive modernization project focused on upgrading the flue gas dust collection system at the EC Siekierki power plant in Warsaw. The project scope involved the replacement of an existing electrostatic precipitator with a modern bag filter system to improve dust removal efficiency and ensure long-term compliance with emission requirements. The works included the complete disassembly of the existing ESP unit No. 11, followed by the delivery and erection of a new bag filter installation. In parallel, ELWO supplied and installed all associated auxiliary systems, including new flue gas ducts, exhaust fans equipped with frequency converters, and a complete ash removal installation. A dedicated compressed air system with compressor room was also implemented to support reliable operation of the filtration system. The project was executed as a comprehensive turnkey solution, covering modernization works, equipment deliveries, on-site erection, and final commissioning. All systems were successfully commissioned and handed over for operation in accordance with technical, operational, and environmental requirements. This reference confirms ELWO Engineering’s capability to perform complex retrofit projects, replacing existing emission control technologies with modern solutions while ensuring smooth integration into operating industrial facilities.
